Coapeja

COAPEJA is a 60-year-old cooperative that represents approximately 450 small-scale coffee growers. Family producers and small business owners. It is located in the south of Minas Gerais, a mountainous region boasting a micro-climate that is ideal for growing specialty coffees, featuring a distinctive flavor and aroma.

These coffees possess the flavor, aroma and physical characteristics that are typical of our micro-region. Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) rating of over 80 points. This ranking ranges from 0 to 100 points.

The productive capacity from our region is about 100,000 bags per year on a biannual average. It is around 80,000 in the low harvest and 120,000 in the high season.
