SôZé Sustainable Cachaça is produced by grinding sugar cane stalks, a noble residue from the previous production of sugar cane seedlings. With the founding of our distillery, the stalks that were originally used to feed cattle, as a silo, began to be ground, and the fermented and distilled juice gives rise to cachaça, of high sensory quality, fresh, noble, aimed at the export market.
Our cachaça is proudly the first to be made from sugar cane waste. As we meet high quality standards in manufacturing, what isn't compliant and would otherwise be discarded is redistilled and becomes vehicle ethanol, a clean source of fuel.

We have always been concerned about the environment, and in our initial plan we designed the roofs of the production area and greenhouses so that rainwater could be collected. We started using biological products to control pests in our sugarcane fields. We then replaced the chemical nutrition with chicken waste. Therefore, we are able to nourish our entire cane field with organic fertilizer composted on the farm itself, from this highly nutritious source. We have planned and implemented ways of working within the circular economy, making use of all the waste produced here, putting what was previously discarded to good use and increasing our yield, with practically zero environmental impact.

DETAILS ON PRODUCTION CAPACITY, SEASONALITY AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
We produce 60,000 liters a year, which when bottled generate 80,000 bottles (750mL each).
We produce our cachaça between the months of May and December. However, as it is rested for at least 6 months, we have availability all year round (from the previous harvest). Label in English, approved by COLA, TTB, with details of the producer (Spinalcool) and the importer at the place of destination. National and international certifications: Bonsucro, Today 2030 (UN), SGS, IBA, CAS+, IBD QIMA for organic Brazil, European Union CE 834/07 and North American market NOP/USDA.
