Taste of Success: Fruit Attraction São Paulo Marks a Milestone for Brazilian Fruit Export

The Fruit Attraction made its debut in Brazil with its first edition held in São Paulo last month, marking a significant moment for the Brazilian fruit export market. Brazilian producers had the chance to showcase the potential of the country’s fruits at this renowned international trade fair. With enthusiastic participation, farmers displayed the diversity and quality of local fruits, actively engaged in business meetings, and shared valuable experiences.

Brazil also boasts a robust infrastructure and modern production systems that ensure the quality and safety of the fruits produced. The increasing concern for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues has further driven the Brazilian fruit sector. According to ABRAFRUTAS, the Brazilian Association of Fruit and Derivative Exporters, the country has stood out for implementing sustainable practices in its agricultural production. Many farms and companies in the sector hold internationally recognized certifications (such as GlobalGAP and Rainforest Alliance), which attest to their commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The fruit sector is also one of the largest employers in the country, creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs, especially in rural areas, as well as contributing to the economic and social development of local communities.

The fair was a success and featured a full schedule of lectures, workshops, tastings, and exhibitions, providing a platform for the talent and innovation of producers committed to promoting sustainable growth in the sector while keeping Brazil as one of the main players in the global fruit market.
