GRUPO ZANCANARO

Gelci Zancanaro was born in 1943 to a family of small farmers from Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul State, of Italian descent. Together with his 13 siblings, he began working in subsistence farming on the humble family property.

Over the years, now married and with his five children, he saw Goiás as the ideal place to start his agribusiness, acquiring the Nossa Senhora de Fátima farm in Cristalina-GO in 1983.

The region would provide better education for their children and unite the family, so, with the unconditional support of his wife, they settled in Brasilia in 1985.
Torrefação Zancanaro emerged from Fazendinha as a spin-off company.
