In 1959 the Santo Antônio Bakery was born in Fortaleza, and in 1964 it became INCA - Industria Cearense de Alimentos, producing pasta and cookies. Over the years, and in order to meet the industry's growing demand for expansion, the Santa Lúcia Mill was created in 1999 in Aquiraz, in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza.

With the implementation of the wheat mill, new and modern machinery was acquired for the cookie, pasta and wafer production lines. In 2012, the company was acquired by the M Dias Branco group, when we were out of business for six years. Until, in 2018, led by the former owners, the Santa Lúcia Group returned to its wheat milling and pasta production activities with S L Alimentos S.A.
