BANANA PRATA IN NATURA

The banana area is 100 hectares, mainly of the silver banana crop. There is also a small production of Nanica. The cocoa area is 20 hectares, 11 of which are in production and 9 are in the second year of planting, with the crops PS1319, CCN51, CEPEC 2002 and Sj02.

The cattle consist of a herd of 70 matrices, a SENEPOL bull, a NELORE bull and a cross between SENEPOL and NELORE.
The cattle are marketed in terms of male calves and eventually female calves.

All the cattle manure is collected and used as organic fertilizer on banana and cocoa farms.

The property currently has a total area of around 160 hectares. As it is part of an irrigation project, the entire area can be used, since the forest reserve is in common with the other owners.

Bananas are produced every year, during all the months, with a predominance in September/October. Cocoa is mostly harvested in December/January and June/July. The cattle are sold between February and April.
