Amizade Temperada is an artisanal recipe created by Mr. Vitor Alves (1919/1988) who made it from an infusion of sugar cane spirit and the aromatic herbs barbatimão, caju roxo, catuaba and umburana de cheiro.

Amizade Temperada is the region's first bottled raizada. It's the revival of a traditional drink produced by infusing brandy and herbs which, according to popular belief, has healing and aphrodisiac properties. Although we know that it is a brandy, it is popularly known as "Cachaça Temperada" and is credited with healing many "ailments" and restoring libido.
