The coffee-rich region of São Sebastião de Paraíso is also known as the ""Alta Mogiana Region"", famous for its abundant productions of high-quality coffee beans. The region is more than 1,000 meters above sea level, and is home to a variety of Arabica coffee beans such as Yellow and Red Catuai, Bourbon, and Mundo Novo.
