Honey is a naturally sweet substance produced by bees from the nectar of flowers. Its composition can vary according to its botanical origin, climate, soil, flowering, among other factors that influence its color, aroma and taste.
As one of nature's purest foods, its quality depends on various factors, such as the botanical origin of the nectar collected, the species of bee, environmental conditions and pre- and post-harvest handling.
DETAILS ON PRODUCTION CAPACITY, SEASONALITY AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
We produce around 10,000 kg of honey per year. Harvesting takes place between February and March, July and August, October and November, and the quantities extracted vary according to the flowering season and the harvest period.
