"The story of Rasip begins with the diversification of the Randon Companies' activities. The company's operations began on May 15,1976, in the city of Vacaria, a region that is part of Campos de Cima da Serra in Rio Grande do Sul and which is a prime location for growing quality apples.

The production process starts with planting and using carefully selected seedlings that are free from the most common viruses and grown in our proprietary nurseries and go through pruning, conduction, pollination, phytosanitary treatments, flowering, thinning, harvesting, storage and classification.

Rasip sells about 60,000 tons per year (90% of its own production). It exports from February to July.

It has a refrigerated storage capacity of 50,000 tons in controlled and dynamic atmosphere chambers that guarantees a quality supply 12 months out of the year. "
