Cachaçaria Matuta

Cachaça Matuta rescues the culture of the city of Areia and of the Vaca Brava sugar mill in Paraíba. The mill has more than 150 years of history, and on its premises is one of the first examples of a steam engine from France in the 17th century.
The name MATUTA is a tribute to the old bulk cachaça traders, "the matutos", who came to the Vaca Brava distillery on mules to buy the famous brejeira cachaça.
