PSIU started its history in 1997 with the commercialization of Mate Couro, a traditional soft drink from Minas Gerais, created in 1947.

With the market success achieved by Mate Couro, the feasibility and implementation projects of the industry were started in a plot of land in the Industrial District of São Luís -MA.
In September 1999, it started selling the PSIU brand, with the launch of the Orange, Guaraná, Cola flavors and, at the time, the pink Psiu Tutti-Frutti.

Our portfolio today consists of soft drinks, energy drinks, mixed drinks, and mineral water.
