The company's history began long before it was founded in 2006. The Ribeiro Ferreira family has always been an active part of the riverside community in the Amazon, producing açaí palm hearts.

In 2006 they started their first factory, producing through outsourcing for major brands. In 2018, Jackson Ferreira Ribeiro and Mônica Rosa began modernizing and creating the Salada Amazônia brand with the mission of bringing knowledge of the açaí palm heart to the world. Thus was born the Salada Amazônia Group, which is committed to strengthening the work of the riverside communities, creating a positive and sustainable impact on the Amazon rainforest.
