Oliv Indústria e Comércio de Azeite
The farm was bought 90 years ago by my husband's grandfather and for a long time was dedicated solely to livestock farming. Olive-growing began as an option to diversify the farm's activities and an opportunity to start a new crop that was previously non-existent in Rio Grande do Sul.
In 2014, after nine years of cultivation, we had our first commercial harvest with the creation of the brand and the sale of the first bottles of Don José olive oil, which sold out quickly. Today, olive growing is present alongside livestock farming on our property. We are a family business in the process of transition so that our children can take over the company and its activities.
