In 1989 the Acorci group was born, a family business founded by Luiz Acorci, with an environmental vocation focused on the fish production chain. Initially with the captive production of aquatic organisms native to the Pantanal, used for professional and sport fishing, to become a complete production company, technical, structural, logistical and commercial support in the entire sector.

In these more than 30 years of experience, it has been possible to achieve mastery of each step. It is at this moment that Pirakuá Pescados becomes another company of the Acorci Group, managed by Luiz Acorci Filho, an agronomist, a fish lover since childhood.

Pirakuá Pescados has as its mission to develop the place where the company is placed, therefore, it has made a moral commitment to work together with the cooperative of the fishermen's colony in the region, in addition to prioritizing in its staff the female public (90% of the total currently).
