The COOPBAC cooperative was established in 2005 with a union of 50 producers, and it is strategically located on the edges of BR 101 in the northern region of Espirito Santo state. The region produces about 65,000 tons of black pepper per year. We currently have 330 members with the potential to supply 10,000 tons of quality pepper per year. 60% go through mechanical drying, while 40% are sun-dried.
The over 300-member Cooperative is able to offer products directly from the producer and controls the process of traceability from production to shipping.
