In the papaya production chain, the production / Field is the most important stage for the fruit flavor, so Rio Corrente / Nortefrut gives special attention to it, ensuring a good handling and correct harvest point. We also chose Western Bahia to install our export-oriented unit because we believe this region produces the best papaya in Brazil (fruit with a firmer texture, differentiated brix and flavor).
Processing: At this stage the papaya goes through rinsing, brushing, ozone-based post-harvest treatment.
